Did You Give Your All to Today?
Hello everyone. Today I am veering from my normal style of blogging to dedicate this blog to great people who have changed our lives and our world by daring to believe in themselves, follow their intuition and learn from their failures.
Hilton, a dear friend of mine sent me an email this morning of Steve Jobs speaking at Stanford University Graduation where he shared stories from his life experience. He spoke of his very public failure of being fired from Apple. He also spoke of living each day as if you are dying. Each day he would look in the mirror and ask himself; “if this was my last day on earth, would I be doing what I am about to do”? If he got a “no”, he would then consider another course of action.
I share this pearl of wisdom with you today as I too wish for everyone that they live each day to their full potential and stop putting things off for “some day”.
We often look at people who we deem in our own way as being successful and see them as somehow different from ourselves. That is so far from the truth. Many of these great people started from humble roots and simply followed their passion and their own inner guidance. Nothing complicated about that.
I then watched a speech delivered by J.K. R0wling who spoke about her own complete and utter failure and how that experience freed her from conforming to other people’s expectations of what she should do with her life to following the path she always knew she was meant to follow… writing.
Having gone through my own dark miserable time in what I call the “Pit”, where there was not even a pin prick of light to guide my way out, I too believe that it was the best thing that could have happened to me. Being in the pit sucked! I was lost, I was alone, and everything I believed in and knew to be true was dismantled in a very brutal and traumatic way. While I don’t wish that experience on anybody I will say that the experience of feeling like I lost everything was the new beginning I didn’t even know I needed.
It was very humbling time, full of tears of despair and disbelief. A time of deep soul searching and reflection. Had I not reached that depth of despair I probably would never have done the work of deconstructing all the “should haves” I was lead to believe my life was about. It was on my journey of climbing out of my pit that the inspiration for Infinite Soulutions was born and my whole life began to change. I had finally given myself permission to do things my way and to follow my own intuition. Even in business as I listen to the “experts” talk about how to run a successful business, I am guided more by my intuition (my Source) as only my Source knows what is right for me.
Sadly, Steve Jobs is no longer will us. He was a man who has inspired millions to think outside the box, to rise from failures and remain committed to living a passionate life.
It is your health, your body mind and Spirit that carries you on your own path of living your passion, following your bliss and trusting your intuition. Don’t put your health off for “someday”.
Your health starts with proper hydration. So many people are dehydrated because of what they are drinking and unknowingly have put their body’s and therefore their life into survival mode.
You are meant to thrive, not survive. Your body needs proper hydration so it can thrive! Remember the Infinite Wisdom that created your body designed it to thrive with water as the main essential ingredient. A body that is chronically dehydrated is a body that stopped thriving. You simply can’t be healthy and thriving when you are dehydrated.
I dare all of you to live your truth, your passion. Be brave enough to disregard what other’s think you should do and do what your heart tells you to do. Just take that first step and you will be amazed at the doors that open for you.
When I stared Infinite Soulutions the idea was to sell water bottles. I knew how much proper hydration impacts our health. I knew I wanted to sell high quality bottles that were safe and healthy for people and I wanted them to be environmentally friendly. That was all I knew at the time.
I thought my biggest challenge was going to be educating people on why they should switch to good quality stainless steel bottles. I had no money, only an overwhelming feeling that I wanted to do this for other people. A week before we launched Infinite Soulutions at a trade show, BPA was all over the media. Thank you Universe! My marketing campaign had been taken care of for me, far beyond my wildest imagination! I have never looked back since. I just take one step forward at a time.
I would love to hear what living the life of your dreams means to you. I encourage you to share your words of wisdom so we might inspire others to live their dreams.
I would also like to know if this is too far off my normal blogging about water, health and hydration or if this style of writing is more beneficial to you.
I am here to share my knowledge and to serve you the best way I can.

Hydration Tip for the Day
- Fluid intake does not equal proper hydration
- Your body needs 8-10 cups of water a day to replace the water it eliminates.
- How much water are you drinking?
- How much water are your kids drinking?
